Global Event Planning Business Plan
GlobeSpan Meeting Planners, Inc., also known as GlobeSpan, will be formed to represent meeting planners in all industries. The founders have over 17 year experience in the hospitality industry, working with domestic and international meeting planners. GlobeSpan will allow founders to leverage their expertise in meeting planners while working with hotels, resorts, and other locations around the globe.
GlobeSpan Meeting Planners, a partnership with HelmsBriscoe will allow GlobeSpan to offer a full-service meeting operations division.
1.1 Mission
GlobeSpan Meeting Planners’ mission is to provide the best quality service possible to clients and be the most productive member of the HelmsBriscoe association. GlobeSpan provides a complete service, which includes site search, rate negotiation, and event management. GlobeSpan will be compensated by the hotels/resorts, and by the complete event planning/airline/cruise assistance offered by HelmsBriscoe’s Resource One at the rate of six percent of gross revenues generated, paid in commission. GlobeSpan is a cost-effective, useful alternative for clients and offers fair compensation for its founders.
Success: 1.2 Keys
These are the four main elements that we will use to achieve success:
- Continuous and diligent prospecting for clients.
- You will only find the best hotels/resorts for your clients if you provide timely, reliable and money-saving site search results.
- Maximizing revenue potential by offering all commission-based services provided by HelmsBriscoe’s Resource One, turning a program which would have been commission on hotel rooms only revenue into commission on complete program revenue (air, production/audiovisual, program planning).
- Combine the knowledge of both owners to provide greater value for the client.
1.3 Objectives
- To receive a gross sale commission of $30,000 until December 31, Year 1.
- To book a gross sales commission of $120,000 by December 31, Year 2.
