D.A.P. D.A.P. Exports is an export business that sells auto parts and lubricants to Jamaica, Colombia, Ecuador and other countries. The company’s shipments often combine American-made parts with foreign parts, with some repackaging and labeling.

Auto part sales is currently a $100 million industry in Latin America and the Caribbean. In these countries, the majority of automobiles are manufactured in the 1980s. However, it is difficult to find replacement parts as most auto manufacturers only focus on vehicles made within the last ten year.

D.A.P. Exports has established extensive contacts in the region. James Dunn has more than 20 years of experience selling consumer product in Latin America and Caribbean. James has been a salesperson for Axiom Food Products, Klymor Manufacturing, and Dudley Food Products.

James used taxi services throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and Latin America during these years. It was during these trips that James realized the growing demand for auto parts as well as auto lubricants. James also discovered the best distribution method for auto products in this region through local taxi firms.

D.A.P. D.A.P. Taxi companies will either use the parts for their own repairs or they will sell them to customers. D.A.P Exports also will sell auto parts to the local auto part stores.
